Wupatki National Monument
By 1182 about 85 to 100 people occupied the Wupatki pueblo's 100-rooms. Their thriving community with its ballcourt and community center were at the heart of a network of numerous pueblos and homes within the radius of a day's walk. The remains of two of those pueblos can be visited today--Wukoki and the Citadel.
