Lost Palms Oasis Trail

The hike to Lost Palms Oasis is 4-miles, one-way, from Cottonwood Spring.  Although there is only an overall elevation gain of 750 feet over the 4-mile route, there are a number of ups and downs along the way.  The oasis, which isn't visible until the final overlook, is in a steep-sided ravine and contains over 100 California fan palm trees, the largest grove in Joshua Tree National Park.
