As
the "official Santa Fe Trail museum in Kansas" I expected more from the
Santa Fe Trail Center. The
outdoor exhibits proved to be more interesting than the indoor displays, perhaps
because I had already read a lot about the trail and had not seen sod and dugout
houses like the ones here.
