Valley View Trail

This is one of the few trails in this area of the park which is not designated as suitable for bikes, but you'll still run into a few now and then.  At slightly less than a mile in length, this trail meanders along the hillside below the Ridge Trail.  At one point, the two trails overlap for a few yards. 

In several spots, one has to deal with fallen trees crossing the path. But, as if to compensate for the inconvenience, there usually are a few deer hanging around in this part of the park.
